medial/mesial temporal sclerosis

Hey, I actually joined the group a while back but never posted. My
neurologist believes I've got medial temporal sclerosis. However, the
info I've found on it describes it as something usually seen with
complex partial seizures. My seizures are better described as
generalized tonic-clonic, definitely not complex partial. Does anyone
have any info about this?

a seizure can start as a complex patial and then
travel to encompass the whole brain and become tonic
clonic
i dont know about the particular condition but this
may be an explanation..
how do your seizures begin..

nope. i'm usually asleep or on the edge of sleep and pretty much go
straight into the typical gtc sequence.
