Hi Zia,
if it is not possible to disable this BS (because of uptime
requirements) you can create a copy of the BS class, make your changes
there and then add the new class as a new BS to your production.
Assuming your BS is using a TCP inbound adapter, you have to give the
new BS a different port number than the old ond. Then you can then
redirect the sending application to the new port number.
This way you would have almost no down time.
(be carefull if the business hosts receiving messages from the BS are
checking for the source of the messages, e.g. in routing rules of
message routers - they need to be made aware of the new business
service name)
