วันวาเลนไทน์ได้เริ่มขึ้นในยุคจักรวรรดิโรมัน วันที่ 14
กุมภาพันธ์ถือเป็นวันหยุดของ Juno
และ
Junoเป็นราชินีของเทพเจ้าโรมันและเทพเจ้าหญิงแห่งโรมันด้วย
