Hello everyone,

my wife has this syndrome, and recently consulted a doctor in our
country which makes treatments with stem cells.
However, we need to know if anyone has tried or know of any doctor who
has been doing this type of treatment and what was the outcome.

In some messages also read about Drs Wilcox and David Rimoin and I
wonder is somebody can send me email or phone of these doctors to get
my doctor to contact him to learn more about this syndrome.

I look forward to your help, because everyone knows the problems we
all face.

Hello ..

I'm not aware of the CED concerned with stem cells, since the function of stem cells  is regenerate or rebuild any tissue. A CED is caused by a genetic mutation of a  growth gene, causing increased bone density and result in pain, one of the most limiting symptoms. The treatments given are essentially based on non-steroidal anti-inflammatory type or eseroidal.
It's what you could personally respond.

Regards to you and your wife

Hello Fabio, I apologise for taking so long to reply.
I have not heard of any treatments for CED, especially not with Stem
Cells.
Are you able to get anymore information from your wife's doctors as to
how this treatment works? I would be very interested to find out!

Best wishes to you and your wife.

Christina.
