I saw one of these :

http://go.iomega.com/en/products/multimedia-drive/screenplay/screenplay-pro/?partner=4735#tech_specsItem_tab

hooked up to a Samsung Series 7 machine today. I wanted them to demo
what the TV could do as a DLNA device, but instead just showed me it
hooked up to the iomega box - which had disturbingly familiar on
screen display to the Emprex ME1, down to the same onscreen keyboard
for entering network passwords, the play icon and the "Network Speed"
message when playing files.... Hmm.

I despair. I couldn't get the Sony store to demo video played via
their new TV's LAN connection either. I want to buy a new TV, but
neither MicroAnvika nor the Sony Centre in Westfield could demo the
features which interest me most. Bah. These new TVs with ethernet
ports are not going to sell themselves to me unless I get a decent
demo of the facilities offered. I can read the spec sheet, but that
won't show if it has an poor user interface, like, for instance, a
certain ME-1.

Oh well.
