 Youth Leadership Logo

The Alameda County Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) is a free, award-winning program that gives high school students the opportunity to learn about and discuss County programs and services, develop leadership skills and meet students from schools throughout Alameda County.

You must be a high school junior or senior, residing in and attending a school in Alameda County to apply. Applications can be submitted online only. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, with consideration given to geographic location to ensure representation of all five supervisorial districts.

 

The application period for the 2014-2015 Youth Leadership Academy is Tuesday, September 2 through Saturday, September 20th. Late applications will not be accepted.

 

Accepted applicants will be notified by email received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. The email will include information of all five sessions.
