Hi there!  

Alter would like to invite you to join us for a casual meetup on business in Myanmar (flyer attached). We are a nonprofit startup out of Stanford that scales high-potential businesses in least developed countries. The goal of this meetup is to get to know everyone in the Bay Area who's interested in opportunities in Myanmar, and tell you a bit more about Alter's activities in Myanmar. We are always excited to find others who are passionate about our mission too, and we hope we can engage you with our work in Myanmar too. 

We support businesses in a number of ways, but we do not provide financial capital. Instead, we provide subject expertise, management coaching and broker deals with potential suppliers and buyers. In Myanmar, we work with Oway Group, City Mart and Frontiir, among others. We also have operations in Haiti and will launch in Afghanistan in March. 

We want to learn from you. How can we do our job better? We would really like to hear about your knowledge and expertise in Myanmar. 

And of course, we will also be providing lunch so come hungry!

The meetup will be held on Jan 28 from 1-4pm at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
