In February 2013 Eliane and her rhythm section from New York City were invited to play with Robert and Gyula at the famous “Palace of Art” in Budapest and other festivals in Hungary. The collaboration with these two leading artists of the Hungarian Jazz scene, was a real joy and a big success. This fall Eliane is inviting them for a concert series in Switzerland.

* Swiss Miss ist Schweizer Volksmusik aller Landesteile und -Sprachen von der Wallis-New Yorkerin Eliane Amherd überraschend umarrangiert. Eliane Amherd (voc, guit), Iris Moné (voc, perc, flute), Sandra Merk (bass) stehen für die 12 fantastischen Musikerinnen (Nubya, Mia Aegerter, Andra Borlo, Eliana Burki etc.) auf der Bühne und spielen aus dem Repertoire der Erfolgs-CD "Heimweh". Das Trio kriegt Verstärkung von zwei fantastischen Musikern aus Kuba und special guests Tanja Zimmermann und Stefan Ruppen!

2013 hatten Eliane und ihre Rhythm Section aus NYC erstmals die Gelegenheit mit Robert und Gyula im berühmten “Palace of Art” in Budapest und weiteren Festivals in Ungarn zu spielen. Die sympathische Zusammenarbeit mit den zwei Ikonen der Ungarischen Jazz Szene war ein grosser Erfolg. Nun bringt Eliane die Musiker für eine Konzertreihe in die Schweiz.
Gyula Csepregi und Robert Ratonyi sind eines der bekanntesten Duos in Ungarn. Beide arbeiteten Jahre zusammen als Solisten und Musikalische Leiter des Ungarischen Nationalen Radio Orchesters und erscheinen als Band Leader oder Sideman auf mehr als 500 Alben. Sie spielen mit Internationalen Stars wie Mike Stern, Peter Erskine, Nigel Kennedy etc.
