Steve Mulroy is a Professor of Law at the University of Memphis. He has served as pro bono counsel for voting rights cases across the country, and was an active advocate of the referendum supporting Ranked Choice Voting that passed in Memphis in 2008. He is a legal scholar, who has published op-eds at The New Republic, Slate, Salon and The Hill and been featured on CNN, MSNBC & the Fox News Channel. His most recent book, Rethinking U.S. Election Law is an exploration of what can be done to repair the U.S. election system.
