Long time no write!

I know it's been a long time (about 2 years) since I wrote to this list.
I apologize that I'm breaking that long 'silence' with this shameless
self-promotion, but nonetheless, here goes...
I just passed the exams to become a licensed tour-guide in Israel. If
you're planning a trip to Israel or know someone who is and may be
interested in a guide, please be in touch! My contact info is at the end
of the E-mail.
That being said, here's what's happened in the last 2 years, for those
whom I haven't been in touch with through any other medium: Our first
son, Hallel was found to have been born with bilateral cataracts and was
completely blind. After several surgeries he now sees pretty well with
glasses and will soon have artificial lenses implanted in his eyes, which
will be even better (less distortion). We are truly blessed to be living
in an age of such miracles. Blessed be He who gives sight to the blind!
About 11 months ago our second son was born. His name is Raviv (see the
first line of parshat Ha'azinu at the end of Deuteronomy), and his eyes
are just fine. About 9 months ago I received rabbinic ordination (smicha)
from Yeshivat Sulam Yaakov in Jerusalem. About 2 weeks ago I passed the
exams to be a tour guide.
