Fine tuning

Hi, all,

This group has grown in parallel with emailed distribution of my
occasional newsletter. As the popularity of that newsletter keeps
expanding, its success has brought it to the (misguided) attention of
ever more spam filters. Anecdotal evidence -- lots of "Say, why didn't
I hear about ...?" comments -- shows that email distribution has
become unreliable and impractical.

I started the Edward M. Lerner Google Group in anticipation of this
day. So that more readers will opt-in to this group for my occasional
updates, I'm changing the group policy so that only I can post.

Do you want a place for discussions? If enough of you email me, I'll
create a second opt-in group for that purpose.
