Come early and stay late because Southwest Leather Conference has plenty planned for the entire weekend of January 23-26nd in Phoenix, Arizona. Early arrivals will be greeted with a Welcome Back Reception on Thursday evening hosted by the Crowne Plaza North. Enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d/oeuvres while socializing and having your boots shined.
Friday is packed with excitement starting with an inaugural ritual where everyone is invited to let flow the waters of our land…Emergence. A full afternoon of workshops will be followed by Opening Ceremony activities featuring introductions of the Master/slave and bootblack contestants. Later on attendees can enjoy on-site play parties, a Drum Circle, and the ever popular Boots & Cigars Party on the Bootblack Lounge portico. For the even more spiritually minded, Our Place will be open throughout the weekend.
Plan for more exciting workshops and educational opportunities on Saturday as well as shopping pleasures in the Leather Mall, bootblacking in the Bootblack Lounge, Southwest Master/slave and bootblack contest activities, and a Pacific Rim luncheon on the patio. Evening brings the final components of the Southwest Master/slave contest and the Southwest Bootblack Contest. The exciting day will amp up the energy so that guests can enjoy the on-site play parties, the Drumming Circle, bootblacking or help us turn the Spice Bar into a Leather bar until the wee hours.
Sunday morning kicks off with early morning yoga followed by Sunday Brunch, a highlight of Southwest Leather Conference, where we welcome Race Bannon as the Endnote Speaker. Attendees can then attend the Leather Tribal Reival, an experience like no other. This service goes beyond multifaith into the realm of spirit and celebrates the fantastic energy when Leather and spirit combine. Various workshops, and the famous Dance Of Souls fill the afternoon, with a final casual gathering on Sunday evening for a Taste Of Italy Buffet dinner.
Guests can still register online for a weekend package until midnight January 17th (Phoenix time). Only onsite registration is available after the 17th.
