Southwest Leather Conference is often called the ‘woo conference’, our nickname for all forms of spirituality, and you can join in the woo at this annual tribal gathering of leather, sex and spirit the weekend of January 23 – 26 in sunny Phoenix. This year we have many ways for guests to get their woo on!

OPENING RITUAL CEREMONY

This Friday afternoon ceremony marks the spiritual beginning of SWLC. We will come together as separate entities to form a more complex, sympathetic whole…Emergence. This is followed by a flowing of that spirit to each of the significant areas of the conference.

 

LEATHER TRIBAL REVIVAL

Leather Tribal Revival is set to do exactly that… REVIVE! With new juice and gratitude for everything, Leather Tribal Revival will delight your spirit and have you tapping your toes with glee. Leather Tribal Revival celebrates spirit however it is defined or experienced by each individual. The Leather Tribal Revival Team, headed by Rev Tim, will take from here and there, this and that, and work hard to honor traditions, while celebrating liberation, family, and experiences with "the universe." Leather Tribal Revival will do things that many in the world think are impossible, and it will be awesome!

OUR PLACE

Our Place is a sacred place of peace. A sanctuary of love and a spiritual dwelling, in which guests can come to quietly share spiritual energy with another, intimately meditate or participate in one of several spiritual activities throughout the event experience. It can be a break from the workshop excitement to contemplate. It might be a quiet hand in the evening to hold while processing new information or experiences. Maybe it is an interest in an Islamic prayer or a Reiki share that begs your heart to dwell. Perhaps it is a time of journey, prayer or opening of heart within a safe haven. If so, Our Place is your place. The door is always open.

 

DANCE OF SOULS

This popular closing ritual and ecstatic dance is held on Sunday afternoon. The Dance Of Souls is about people bringing their focus and energies together for good intention. This modern primitive celebration is uniquely created through the energies of the participants present within a scaffolding of cross-cultural spiritual traditions that involve temporary piercing, drumming, chanting and dancing. The ritual is a closed private ceremony offering all Dance of Souls attendees the opportunity to participate in a variety of roles.

There is more than just ‘woo’ at Southwest Leather Conference. The weekend experience is about merging our leather sexuality with leather spirituality…..about being real and authentic in the moment and embracing and celebrating our fetishes and desires. We offer guests countless opportunities to reach beyond their current limits - mental, emotional, physical or spiritual. Come with an open mind and do not hesitate to ask questions. Also come for the hot leather sex!
