Winter Climbing this weekend ?

Hi,

looks like winter will be hitting the Scottish hills come boxing day and cold with snow for the foreseeable future thereafter.

As I'm not up to much next weekend nor New Years day for that matter. I was thinking of getting my axes and crampons down from the loft and getting out for a climb or two over the New Year weekend (provided weather is not too dire that is !).

It's been a while since I have swung my axes so I am not looking to be doing anything full on, major or super early starts. However I am up for getting back out on the winter hills for some mellow climbing to knock off the rust.
