Subject: archaeology survey for PAP

Greetings, fellow archaeologist! This is Mary Sullivan, a member of
PAP. Some of you may have met me in the 2003 or 2006 seasons. I wrote
my master's thesis based on geophysics research I did at Pambamarca.
Now I teach anthropology at community college. Sam and I are working
on a textbook about archaeology that will be geared toward entry-level
archaeology students. And this is where we need your help!

This textbook will be different than other ones of its kind…any book
can explain archaeology methods, etc, but this one is about what it's
like to be a first time archaeologist. It will explain how to think
like an archaeologist from a students' perspective. So that's why we
need you!

This short questionnaire is designed to understand how YOU felt about
your experience at PAP. There are no right or wrong answers. The best
answers are candid and truthful. The 15-30 minutes it will take you to
fill this out will help future students learn. Also, you have the
chance to be famous! I'm looking to use quotes in the book. If I use
yours, I'll include your name and possibly even your picture, if you
send it. (I can also change names to protect the innocent, if you
prefer!)

We thank you very much for your time and consideration on this! The
best thing about scholarship is learning from and teaching others.
Here is your opportunity to do both. Thanks again!
