should i pack a towel or should i expect to buy one when i get there?

Laura- You can buy one in quito or cayambe for a couple bucks or bring
your own. I forgot a towel last year and bought one in Cayambe and
that's the one i'm bringing this year. One thing to keep in mind is
the towel I bought last year is thinner and smaller than those i'm
used to back home so if that's an issue you should probably bring
your own. -Micah
