Subject: [Eckstein Orchestra] Orchestra Greenery Sale
Hello Orchestra families,
Our greenery fundraiser is underway! Catalogs and order forms were given to students October 17 and additional forms are available in the orchestra room.
Parents and guardians, we need YOUR help!
This is our primary fundraiser for the year and greenery sales and donations support:
· Instruments
· Scholarships
· Trip/Festival opportunities
· Specialist coaches and mentors
· And much more…
Participation is the key, please help your children get the word out and help raise money to support this excellent program.
Last year around 50% of students participated in the greenery sale, our goal is to get 70% participation. Cash donations are encouraged for friends and family who are not interested in greenery.
If we can get more families involved we will have a much better chance of reaching our 2013 Fundraising Goals:
$10,000: Student will again have their chance again to douse Mr. Smith at the end of the year carnival!
$11,000: Kool-aid will be added to the water to make things more uncomfortable!
$15,000: A picture and quotation from Mr. Smith in the Eckstein Yearbook! In all of his years at Eckstein Mr. Smith has never voluntarily appeared in the Eckstein yearbook. He has agreed to have his picture included in the yearbook with a personal quotation!
**The top fundraising orchestra will have a pizza party. **
Please turn in forms and payments to the collection box in the orchestra room by November 10th.
