to EasyTask-EasyProject
After several years, Easy Task keeps getting better... Great job,
Jose...
There are a couple issues though... And this is specifically regarding
version 2.1 Mac Leopard:
1. Main task display window, clicking the "DUE" header does not sort
the tasks by due date. Clicking it, only switches the position of the
first and last task in the list. This is when 'Projects' is selected
in the left column where all the folders are.
2. In "Preferences: General", clicking "Color tasks with importance
equal to or higher than" actually colors task that are equal to or
'lower' than. In most applications, an importance of 1 is higher than
5, but with that option in EasyTask, it assumes the opposite. If I
select 'color tasks with importance higher than 2" it will color 2, 3,
4 and 5 instead of 1 and 2 as I believe it should.
3. Not sure if the "Move uncompleted tasks to today" functionality is
working. I assume the way that's supposed to work is if that option is
checked in preferences, when the day switches, either the 'due date'
or the 'start date' for the uncompleted tasks should be switching to
'today's' date. This isn't happening, and my tasks are remaining
static with the old due and start date. And I do have 'due' 'and
'start' date checked in the task properties and 'move uncompleted
tasks to today' is checked in the preference pane. The tasks are
remaining in the 'older' folder and I have to manually change the
dates on the tasks to today's date for them to show up when viewing
the 'today' folder.
4. Syncing. Whenever a sync takes place, the main task window displays
all the task rather than just the tasks for the folder I have
selected.. i.e. "Today." I have to click another folder and then click
"Today" again to return to the Today view.
5. And lastly, I'm having issues with syncing in general. Without
getting into too much detail, should it matter if I'm syncing between
one Mac that is Leopard and one that is Tiger? Also, what
specifically does the 'Reset Online Data" mean?
Thanks, Jose. I know you have your hands full writing on so many
platforms now... But that's what pizza and Bawls(tm) color is for :)
