Cinco De Mayo is one of the major holidays in Mexico. Cinco de Mayo
(which means May 5th) celebrates a victory of the Mexican Army over
the French Army in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.

You can have a lot of fun celebrating it wherever you live. Introduce
your child to Mexican culture by making some of the suggested crafts

Cinnamon "Fried" Ice Cream

3 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch® cold cereal
6 scoops vanilla ice cream (1/2 cup each)
Crush 3 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal; place in shallow pan.

Quickly roll 6 scoops (1/2 cup each) vanilla ice cream (1 scoop at a
time) in cereal to coat. Place coated scoops of ice cream in ungreased
15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Cover and freeze about 2 hours.

Set oven control to broil. Uncover pan. Broil scoops with tops 6
inches from heat about 30 seconds or until coating is light brown.
