I know I used up two of my promised "ten e-mails a year" yesterday but
I just have to send you one more. The announcement below is from Trent
Sharp, a terrific teacher at Reagan High School. They are having a
screening of new work next week. Those of you who live nearby know
Reagan has had more than its share of problems in addition to the usual
ones plaguing many inner-city schools. Trent started a media club four
years ago that turned into a class and his students do really amazing
work. If you watch "Piercing" on the East Austin Stories web site or
you have seen "My Cultura" and "Frindship" at the screenings, you were
watching Reagan student work. Here's the announcement.

Hey, hey, hey!

It's about time for some freakin' free movies by crazy creative student
filmmakers from the most love-to-be-worried-about school on god's green
Austin! It's Raider Film Fest 2005 and the crops are ripe for the
pickin'. Modified cars, gang stories, hoop stars and a guy named Joe
will be book-ended by the weirdness that is our rendtion of R.Kelly's
"Trapped In the Closet" (fear missing this!). Join us November 28th at
7
o'clock and we'll try like hell to get you outta there by 9-ish. Much
love from the 52. --TSharp (RAIDERFILMCZAR)
