Third Ward TX and EAS at SXSW

Hello all-

A couple of East Austin Stories from the past two years have been
making some festival splash. "Quinceanera," by Sergio Carvajal and
Ruwan Perera will screen at SXSW as one of the Texas Shorts.
"Quinceanera" premiered at last December's screening of East Austin
Stories.

"Letters for Las Manitas," by Joshua Tate, Yuta Yamaguchi, and Jeff
Gipson, is screening at the San Francisco International Children's
Film Festival, which begins this weekend. "Letters for Las Manitas"
premiered at the December 2006 screenings of East Austin Stories."

And finally, from the self-promotion department, a note for Austin
residents--"Third Ward TX" my docuemntary about Project Row Houses in
Houston TX wil be broadcast on KLRU beginning Monday night.
