EARTH SPIRIT KANSAS CONTINUATION

Esteemed Colleagues and Respected Friends:

It is with real sadness that I tell you of my personal decision as regards Earth Spirit Kansas Coalition and the continuation of EarthFest in Wichita. Since April, 2013, I have experienced several major traumas/issues in my life. Death of my mother-in-law, Loucille; sudden need to return to the workforce full-time; final ending of a relationship; physical symptoms which may require major surgery this Spring. It is my conclusion that all of these factors undermine my ability to continue as Coordinator of ESK and Event Planner for EarthFest IV in April, 2014. I have plans to change my geographic location later this year as well. This will preclude extending any time with ESK.

I will be back in Wichita January 7th. I am planning several events and programming for Dress for Success Wichita but if you wish to phone me, I am at 316.409.2406. As of today's date, the meeting space for tomorrow, January 4th, is not reserved. Somehow, ESK was removed from the calendar at Watermark. However, the Inglenook Space is still reserved for February 1st at Watermark. Please advise me if you wish to use that space; I will cancel the reservation a week prior if I don't hear from anyone about a meeting in connection with Earth Spirit Kansas and EarthFest.

Thank you for all you have done for this all-volunteer eco-spiritual coalition. We did amazing things with little resources but our determination and vision and commitment.

Greetings all;

I have reserved a meeting space at Spangles at Broadway and Kellogg, for Sat, jan 11 at 9:30 am.

I think road conditions should be clear and I hope all that are interested in the continuation of Earthfest will be able to attend. I have spoken to a couple that do not receive ESK postings. If you know anyone else like this please forward this invitation.

I have spoken with Connie and intend to get all contact info and other details we may need to continue this event.

I hope to see all of you Saturday.
