Hey Alison,
I saw that you’re listed as the Psychiatry interest group president, so I’d like to invite you and any of the EVMS students to an event in October. If you’re not familiar with PsychSIGN, it’s the APA’s psychiatry student interest group network. My name is James McKenzie and I’m a second year DO student in Tennessee. I serve as the regional chair for the Southeast, and I’ve organized a regional conference on October 13th in Nashville, TN.
The conference is free to attend and will have speakers from psychiatry departments across the country addressing a number of topical issues. I’ve attached an itinerary. The seating is limited, so please RSVP if you’d like me to save any seats. I also have a limited number of volunteers who can house out-of-state attendees for a night if that would help someone be able to attend. Anyone is welcome, so please feel free to share this with anyone who may be interested.
