Hi guys,

I know its late and most of the club members are out of the region but I thought I’d invited whomever is interested and in town to the following:

1)      1-3 p.m., Thur, 12/20/12, Pathology Conference room (2nd floor, LH):

a.       Agenda: review of the grant application we submitted on art therapy and Recreational Music Making for health professionals

b.      Watch the National Academy of Sciences web-based video on the need for more research on the arts and medicine, as we starting planning an Affordable Care Act statewide demonstration grant application to reduce the use of antipsychotic meds for the reduction of challenging behaviors in persons with dementia etc. in long  term care facilities

2)      8:00-9:00 a.m, Thurs, 12/20/12, Scientific Advisory Meeting, Southeastern Virginia Alzheimer’s Association, first floor, 6350 Center Drive  Norfolk, VA 23502 (757) 459-2405.

Regardless, I wish you and the other club members a break that is both emotionally and physically refreshing. PFA
