Yoga Therapy:

Its Role in Contemporary Psychiatry

OBJECTIVES: Following this presentation, participants should be able to:

1)     Examine what occurs in a yoga therapy session and translate mechanisms for how yoga therapy enhances healing and promotes wellness.

2)     Analyze physiologic mechanisms of mindfulness.
