Hello all! A few things:

1. Meeting next Friday, 11/2 at lunch. Dr. Petri and Dr. Patel will give a general overview of careers in psychiatry and answer your questions. Pizza and soda will be provided. Location to be determined.

3. I was trying to plan a discussion on OCD but I kept having to postpone it because reserving a room proved to be quite difficult. Therefore, I've put that plan aside for now (since the original intent was to have it during OCD Awareness Week, which was earlier in the month). I would like to revisit the idea if there is enough interest, and would welcome input/help from anyone else with an interest in/knowledge of the topic. So be sure to let me know if you are interested!

4. If you have other ideas for the group--topics for meetings, community service projects, etc.--send them my way! A few people have expressed interest in hearing from a child psychiatrist, so that's something we will look into.

5. If you want even more responsibility and power, officer positions are available. Let me know if interested.
