Scholastic ( www.scholastic.com ) and Trumba ( www.trumba.com ) have partnered to create OneCalendar, an online tool designed to promote better communication between teachers and parents. OneCalendar allows teachers to send regular emails to parents about homework assignments, conferences, and class events. Beginning this fall, teachers can visit http:// www.trumba.com/schools to sign up for a year of free access to the program and create a personalized calendar.

Of course, we can use it privately or originally for varied purposes, e.g., as a communication tool between student researchers and their supervisor. Just try and enjoy it!
