Hi All,
It has been truly refreshing to see the unfolding of your coordination, effort
and recommendations, through the Environmental Sustainability Task Force 2!
I became aware of the initiative rather late in this cycle, but you all have
raised my enthusiasm and determination to participate! I'm encouraged by your
efforts, solidarity and cogent observations, such as the need to educate the
next generation. It is ironic that for all the challenges and complexity of implementing
sustainability, when it comes to knowing what is good or bad for the
environment, a consensus is relatively easy.
The sustainability minded community you are establishing through
recommendations and outreach makes palatable the daunting task, of changing the
behaviors of others, to recognize the consequences of "we" verses
"me," in valuing CO2e consequences.
We cannot change the global environment alone, as individuals, likewise, we
cannot change everyone's sustainability behaviors either, but in solidarity, we
have the power to change both, as caretakers of our environment and ecology.
I'm interested in continuing your efforts and participating in related
initiatives. Feel free to reach out to me with opportunities to continue your
efforts. My contact in this email is public, so don't hesitate to copy me on
relevant emails.
