I like how visual it is and also that the "Lead by Example" has its place - although we are not prioritizing it high up (because of the less GHG savings)

Could we include "carbon sequestration (native plants, trees)" as one box on top of Carbon free electricity underneath new and existing buildings?

And I prefer it without the reference to the specific book (from 2007 :)  ) - I think it is very well represented in the building pic to the right.

We also had a discussion after the closure of the phone call on how much TOD would actually reduce without the transport measures ??? 
In theory the GHG reduction are linked to the transportation policies and not the building.
Although if we were to refer to dense buildings  - (and not just TOD) then yes: small apartments use about half the energy than a single family house.

native plants and trees are related to buildings and landuse  - since we ask the city to incorporate more of them also on private land :)

HI all

I agree that it is important to include open space, trees and landuse in both the pyramid and the illustrations. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help write a recommendation on community gardens, but I think that Jada's recommendation goes a long way to improving the city with more trees and nature (and the many associated benefits).
