Hi Hannah, 

Our B&LU Recommendations folder is here.  Warning that it is fairly messy.  I'm hesitant to move things around too much right now because folks are mid-edit on quite a few of these.

Hi Steering Committee,

 

I had a request from a member of the public at last week’s meeting to have draft recommendations available online for the public to comment on. Although they’re already on the website in the Agenda Packets, the request was to have them organized by topic to be more easily located. We’re getting towards the end of the review time (this is something we probably should have done from the beginning), but I’d like to fulfill this request if possible.

 

The easiest way to do this is to put a link on the ESTF-2 page of the website to each group’s recommendation folder in the file repository, because most groups have already organized their recommendations this way. If you haven’t already, please create a folder within your group’s folder in the repository titled “Recommendations,” and upload just your group’s recommendations into this folder. (Transportation has done this well, although they’d need to move any documents other than the recommendations themselves to another folder.) I know many recommendations aren’t “draft” anymore and have been approved/finalized, but it would be good to have them all up there, so just make a note on any that are already approved.

 

We won’t link the entire repository or your group’s entire folder, just the folder with your recommendations. Please let me know if you have any issues with your group’s recommendations being more publically displayed on the website. In addition, I’m going to put each Working Group leader’s email address next to your link for people to send comments too; let me know if you’d rather have me put sustain...@mountainview.gov as the email to contact with comments.

 

Please organize/clean up your recommendations folder and let me know you’ve done so by 9am Wednesday morning so the public has a chance to see them before Thursday’s meeting.

Hi Emily,

 

Thanks for this. For now I’m going to post the link to the entire folder, but if you can clean it up a bit more and eventually move everything that’s not a recommendation to another folder that would be great. It’s a little confusing as it is now.

 

We only have two recommendations in the finalized recs folder, so I’m not sure it makes sense to share that as of right now.
