Notes from Friday's bldgs team mtg, Upcoming 1/19 meeting, and link to Feb recommendations

Hi everyone,

I copied the recommendations we shared at the last general task force meeting onto Google Drive.  Please feel free to edit it here (called February recommendations), and continue to add content to this version for the Feb 1 task force meeting.

Reminder about upcoming meetings:

• Fri Jan 19 - Betty Seto (NZE) & Steve Attinger joining us - Atrium Room 10-11:30am
  
• Betty (works with City of Sunnyvale) will discuss NZE policies
• Steve will join us to discuss status of current ESAP-3 and CPR city efforts.  We can ask him for feedback on our recommendations so far, and try to better understand how this may play out within city administration
• Fri Jan 26 - reserve to discuss recommendations within the team - room TBD - 10-11:30am
• Thurs Feb 1 - general task force meeting - sharing Feb recommendations

Some discussion items from today's meeting (Gema, Ines, David, Jada, Emily):

• A subgroup of the steering committee will be working on developing a Vision statement.  Please feel free to submit any input to Mary/Jane/Bruce K/Bruce N/IdaRose.
• Pass Emily any feedback you have for the Steering Committee on how things are going:
• Comments:  there was no time for meaningful discussion of recommendations last week at general mtg
• Chirjiv (via email) had a suggestion to reorganize the B&LU folder on Google Drive into subfolders for each major recommendation.  Chirjiv, please go for it, and let us know if you have a recommendation for how subfolders should be structured. 
  
• We talked about identifying a single primary writer for each recommendation so that it's clear who is working on what.  It would be great if each subgroup can coordinate amongst themselves and break out who will be working on what, and update the recommendation list here to make that clear.

For reference, here is a summary of Bruce's work plan for future general task force meetings and recommendation 'winnowing':

• Jan 4 - WGs share list of top ideas, no details, no limit on # of ideas
  
• Feb 1 - WGs share list of top ideas, no details, max 20 ideas per WG
  
• Mar 1 - Page 1 of template completed, max 15 ideas per WG
  
• Apr 5 - Pages 1 & 2 of template completed, max 10 ideas per WG
  
• May 3 - Critique Transportation WG ideas - Full template completed, max 10 ideas 
  
• May 17 - Critique B&LU WG ideas - Full template completed, max 10 ideas
  
• May 24 - Critique M&M / WoWCon ideas - Full template, max 10 ideas
