Win 16 subsystem maybe unstable

Hi all

Yesterday I tried to run a progamme I have had on my computer for
years and years - SF-INTERFACE - which I use to down load and upload
my Casio organiser data - I has always worked with XP before now.

but now it wont run - I get the Casio intro screen - and
then .........nothing... just the egg timer! When I Ctrl/Atl/Del I
get
this message.

"The request to end the selected 16 bit task has timed out. Win 16
subsystem maybe unstable"

Unstable is the best way to discribe my feelings right now !!! :
- )

Any idea out there
