[ENCATC Understanding Heritage]

The conference about the “Heritage of Migration” hosted in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in April 2017 will focus on the immigration tangible and intangible heritage, of which the same city is rich due to its past. In particular, it will look at the actors and processes that produce and reconfigure the old world in the new, and the new world in the old across the Atlantic. This event encourages provocative dialogue across the fullest range of disciplines and papers from academic colleagues in fields such as anthropology, archaeology, art history, architecture, business, communication, ethnology, heritage studies, history, geography, literary studies, media studies, museum studies, popular culture, postcolonial studies, sociology, tourism, and urban studies are welcomed.
