The ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy is an annual publication with articles on cultural research. Its objective is to stimulate the debate on the topics of cultural management and cultural policy among scholars, educators, policy makers and cultural managers. The Journal is based on a multidisciplinary perspective and aims at connecting theory and practice in the realm of the cultural sector. Inputs on the performing arts and their place within cultural management could be highly valuable, especially concerning audience development.
This call for articles is for the 6th Volume of ENCATC Journal, which will be issued in summer-autumn 2016. Articles on the following topics are particularly encouraged:
· Digital means for audience development;
· Participatory governance of cultural heritage;
· Cultural and creative sector: entrepreneurship and innovation;
· Monitoring culture and creative interventions: urban futures and social engagement;
· Promotion of cultural diversity, cultural external relations and cultural policy.
The call for this volume is open to the wider ENCATC network. Thus, even if you did not present a paper at the 6th Annual ENCATC Research Session in Lecce, you can submit an article for our journal. The received articles will go through a double-blind peer review process, and authors will be informed whether the article has been accepted or not.
