According to the 2010 US Census Bureau report, 56.7 million people in the U.S. have a disability. How can museums respond to the online needs of audiences with disabilities? The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh has focused their accessibility guide on making the web experiences of people with the following disabilities better. The guide includes best practices, resources, and practical advice about how to ensure all users have equal access to information and functionality.
