Hi,

The Vancouver Heritage Foundation is recognizing the 2nd Avenue Gurdwara with a plaque installation on Saturday September 15th at 1pm. The 2nd Avenue Gurdwara was the first Sikh Temple in North America and this celebration will include the plaque unveiling, speeches by community pioneers and a reception to follow at East India Carpets (1606 West 2nd Avenue in Vancouver). I hope you will be able attend this historic event.
