Looking for volunteers: Escape at Woodstock West

Dear Community Members,

Does anybody out there like to talk to people of all ages about
recycling waste and creative approaches to the energy issue....AND you
want to check out an amazing and historically important alternative
musical festival?!

Well, I am happy to report to you all that we have been invited to
promote Escape From Berkeley (by any non-petroleum means necessary!)
this weekend at West Fest, the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock.

On Sunday, October 25th from 9:00 - 6:00 in Golden Gate Park, 'West
Fest' is taking place with 40 bands and performers, wonderful food and
beverage vendors, cool hippie crafts and an ECO-Village for green
organizations/ projects.

That day, we will be showing off one of our alternative vehicles in
the ECO-Village and promoting our road rally with fliers and by
talking to people. This should be a very well-attended event in the
park and so, the opportunity for exposure for our event and to educate
the public, kids and adults, about alternative vehicles will be great
indeed.
