One other note to add: As some of us remembered, Justice Breyer is Jewish, so there are two Jewish Justices now, Breyer and Kagan.

Here are two links to information mentioned on Sunday.

One is the text of William Barr's speech to the Law School at Notre Dame University. I discuss this speech and one other in a post on my website, if that interests you. The other is Rick Steves' documentary on Fascism in Europe broadcast on NPR. One highlight worth special attention is the use of visual images in spreading Nazi propaganda. The discussion (all too quick) occurs at 37:45-38:10 in the program. This stereotype of perfect whites permeated the U. S. and, in some places, it still does.  Following up on the history of Fascism, Steve, would you please send us the title of the book you found so interesting on that subject?  One other thing: Joan was right and I was wrong. The number of states required to ratify an amendment to our constitution is 2/3.
