Remember M. King Hubbert predicted "peak oil" in
1995? Now, the International Energy Agency predicts 2026. If
this really is "peak oil," the IEA says "thank electric vehicles
and other cleaner technologies." The IEA goes on to say "by the
end of 2028, more than 155 million electric vehicles will have
been sold globally, half of them in China."
And, half of the electric vehicles in the US could
be coming from China (The Trump-Biden tariffs are
likely to greatly affect the number. Remember Japan introduced
the small fuel-efficient car to the US).
