ODOE to Hold Informational Webinar for Community Heat Pump Deployment Program March 2

The Oregon Department of Energy will hold an informational webinar for the Community Heat Pump Deployment Program (CHPDP) on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10 a.m. PST. Information on how to join the virtual meeting is available on the program page. CHPDP is a new state incentive program aimed at supporting the heating and cooling needs of Oregonians. Eligible entities for up to 11 geographic regions and the nine federally recognized Indian Tribes will apply to be regional administrators of program funding, which they will then distribute within their regions for the purchase and installation of heat pumps and related upgrades. The webinar will provide a summary of key elements of the final administrative rules for CHPDP, which were published on February 13, 2023. ODOE will also highlight upcoming milestones for program implementation and provide other helpful information for eligible applicants.

The opportunity to apply for funding through the Community Heat Pumps Deployment Program will be opening soon! Keep an eye out for an opportunity announcement, providing additional program details and requirements, that will be released in the near future.

If you have questions about this incentive program, please submit them to our program team via email at Community...@energy.oregon.gov.
