Just a brief note to say so long for a little while. Today is my last
day as your Executive Director of Episcopalians for Global
Reconciliation and this email is the last thing on my to-do list.
Thank you for all that you have done to let God shine through you
these past years. Keep doing what you're doing. I'll be stepping aside
for a little while to let new leadership (not just the new executive
director but other new leadership, too!) step up and fill some voids
and create some new and wonderful things. After a bit, I'll be back
among you as a fellow laborer in this wonderful vineyard as provost of
Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis.
Marguy McVey (e4g...@gmail.com) will continue to be your most
excellent EGR staff person for anything you need from her.
Dahn Gandell (mothe...@hotmail.com) will continue to be your most
excellent contact for all things General Convention (it is going to
really rock this year!!!)
YOU will continue to be your second-best resource for everything you
need for this mission -- so use this list and continue to collaborate,
create and celebrate together.
God will continue to be your best resource for this entire movement.
So keep surrounding everything in prayer. Keep asking God how God can
love the world through you. Keep praying "thy will be done" and not
only will everything work out fine ... you'll keep having more fun
than you can possibly imagine.
Love you all. Through you, God has made my life extraordinary.
