Mawlana Hazar Imam announces official visit to Canada

At the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Carney, Mawlana Hazar Imam will undertake an official visit to Canada from 25 to 31 March 2026, during which he will meet with the Jamat residing in Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime Provinces.

In a Talika Mubarak read in Jamatkhanas worldwide, Hazar Imam said he plans to visit the country again in the near future to meet with his Jamat residing in Western Canada.

To be able to focus his attention on the Jamat in Ontario, Québec, and the Maritimes, Hazar Imam does not wish members of the Jamat from other parts of Canada, or from other countries, to travel to these provinces during his visit.
