Our guest speaker, Nizar Ladak, will present:

“The Power of Scars – My Journey from Refugee to CEO”

Drawing from his newly published book and a distinguished 33-year executive career, Nizar will share a powerful and deeply personal story of resilience, perseverance, and transformation. Expelled from Uganda during the brutal regime of President Idi Amin and arriving in Canada as a refugee, Nizar went on to rise to influential CEO and senior executive roles across healthcare, technology, and public service sectors. His journey reflects the extraordinary strength of the human spirit and the power of courage, determination, and hope.

Through personal experiences, leadership insights, and practical wisdom, Nizar will explore how adversity and life’s scars can become sources of growth, purpose, and success rather than limitations. His message is both timely and uplifting: our scars may remain, but they do not have to define our future.

Nizar Ladak has delivered more than 800 talks and keynotes nationally and internationally, and has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 25 Immigrants. His warmth, authenticity, and inspiring leadership make this a presentation you will not want to miss.
