DDA : Concerning  Member Engineer   (i)             Recently Delhi Government has approved regulation for permitting online application for digging permission and deposit of payment thru SBI online mode. Please inform whether DDA is also a part of this network and online permission for digging roads managed by DDA can be obtained thru this online portal? (ii)            If not, who in DDA would approach Delhi Government for such inclusion? (iii)           At present what is the penalty which can be imposed for carrying out unauthorized digging on road/street managed by DDA, please inform in detail? (iv)          In how many cases such penalty has been imposed by DDA in last one year?

Dear All,

DDA Dwarka Civil Engineering Division is NOTORIOUS for allowing Digging on even newly deprecated roads.

Every Nook and Corner of Dwarka found these Digging and left open for Months.

The AIR Pollution Norms or other directions of NGT or Courts are not applicable to DDA or their agencies whom the digging permission issued.

It is also alleged if the permission is for 1 KM stretch Digging actually Digging goes in to many KM's.

There is no protection or safety in areas where these kind of Digging allowed for Public or Traffic. Some of these digging are Late Nights.

Without Connivance or Nexus of the DDA officails its not possible to dig up these roads in this manner and left it open for Compromising SAFETY of all.

At times its look like DDA Dwarka  function like MAFIA Team who have NO REGARD or RESPECT for LAW or Procedures.

The system should be MADE 100% Online to arrest the gross corruption in DDA.
