DFGB Meeting with Colonel Sehrawat, MLA

 ON SUNDAY, July 12, 2015

AT GOKUL GARDEN, SECTOR-7, DWARKA, NEW DELHI

 

Representatives of Dwarka Forum welcomed Colonel Sehrawat. 

 

 

Following issues were discussed.

 

 

1.     Unification of Dwarka Sub city as one constituency.

It was explained to him how unification as big issue because presently none of the sectors of Dwarka falls under  Dwarka Constituency. It was assured by Mr Sehrawat to look into it and will raise the issue in Delhi Assembly.

 

2.     Development of Entry / Exit Points

Member of DF raised the issue of entry exit point of Dwarka which was acknowledged by Mr Sehrawat and asked DF to submit concrete proposal so that it  can be perused with appropriate authority.

3.     improvement of Road Transport particularly DTC Services

Members raised the issue of poor connectivity of bus services in Dwarka.Members of DF also explained that it is being ignored by the authority despite having series of meeting with DTC officials including its Chairman. He was of the view that DF may give a fresh proposal for it so that it can be forwarded to Transport Minister of Delhi for consideration.

 

 

4.     Timely completion of 750 beds Hospital of Sector -9

Members of the Forum appraised MLA about the commencement of 750 bed hospital in sector 9. It was requested him to keep tab on the progress as public representative to ensure its timely completion as there was an inordinate delay in commencement of the project.

 

5.      Construction of Sports Complex in Sector 8 and Sector 17

It was explained to MLA about the delay in Construction of Sports Complex in Sector 8 and Sector 17 despite assurance given by DDA in various meetings of DF.He agreed to follow up with VC,DDA and LG.

 

6.      Provision of Booster pump in sector -8, Dwarka, vacating the market plot occupied by SdMC in Sector -8, development of parking

Residents of Sector 8 and 9 complained that there is a provision of booster pump but despite repeated request concerned agency is not taking any step resulting there is poor supply of water in these areas.MLA assured that he will take up the issue with DJB.

 

7.      It was also decided that there will be a regular meeting with the member of Forum and Mr A S Chhatwal Jt Secretary of DF was authorized to convene such meeting with coordination with both DF and MLA.

8.      Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to MLA.

2  Road Link Dwarka Link road to Najafgarh-Bijwasan Road (As per UTTIPEC decision). (He could help in this one also) in addition to New Linking 226 road to so called Dwarka Express (under litiagation).

Arunji,

He is MLA of Bijwasan.Only two sectors i.e sector 8 and 9 falls under his constituency and in these two sectors encroachment is not a big issue.However we may seek his help in solving this issue with the help of his other colleague.

I have taken note of it.

We are going to the way for resolving problems of the affected residents.  Good follow up by AS Chatwal.  Keep it up and try to bring Mr. Gulab Singh, MLA for other areas covering maximum areas of Dwarka in loop.

Dear GB Members

Today evening, i received a phone call from office of Col Davinder Sehrawat, MLA requesting to submit the letters to MLA as per decision taken in the DF meeting on 12-7-2015. 

They also wanted to know, when DF members are going to meet MLA for detailed discussions on the pending issues already discussed.

In this regard,  I request all GB members to DRAFT one letter each and finalize soon, so that 

Final letters can be submitted to MLA.

 Thereafter we may seek an appointment to discuss these issues with him in details.

  I personally feel it is a good opportunity to proceed on some important issues.
