The billing by telecom companies is getting complicated day-by-day. With different family packs the length of bill is running into 8-9 pages. This clutter is making it difficult to pin point & trace the charges for specific activity. For example, the broadband connection with add on services or clubbing the bill of more than one mobile connection into one.
Such a length is waste of storage and also paper, if for some reason one needs a hard copy. A bill running into 9 pages just for internet connection, OTT platform, land line and mobile connection charges is too much. It becomes cumbersome to trace the charges for any specific activity in the lengthy bill. The definition of family pack opted by consumer must be printed on every bill for transparency. The information which could easily be presented in one page is running into so many pages.
It is requested that telecom companies may be directed to
(1) cut size the bill with clear cut presentation of element/activity/service wise bill in a concise manner preferably in one page (sample attached),
(2) Allow customers some option to choose the monthly cycle dates.
Note: This is not a complaint against Airtel but against but for improving industry practice.
