(A) At Prabhupad Chowk i.e. intersection of road number 201 and 203 debris are lying towards sector 12 now for past so many weeks. This has narrowed down the road and slowed the traffic. Causing such obstruction on road is a punishable offense under IPC, Delhi Control of Vehicles and Other Traffic on Roads and Streets Regulations 1980 etc. In this back ground please inform the name of the officer who has failed in clearing the debris from road and caused immense disturbance to traffic.
(B) On the intersection of road number 201 and 202 the road has been dug up and is lying as it is now for the past several weeks. This has reduced the width of road and on green light traffic has to make sudden adjustments generating accident-like situations. This is primarily a case of gross negligence and indicates a highly insensitive approach towards work endangering the life of people. In this back ground please inform :
(1) Which authority has dug up the road? (2) Whether any prior permission was taken from DDA? (3) What was the agreed restoration period? (4) Whether approval of traffic police was taken? (5) Reasons and facts for not repairing this dug-up patch? (6) Being an intersection, whether any priority has been accorded to repair this? (7) In case DDA has dug it up, what is the restoration date? (8) This is causing trouble to traffic and may also cause accident, non-repair of the road at intersection tantamount to intentionally creating conditions endangering life of people. Please provide the name of the officer who has failed in instantly repairing the stretch? (9) In case this is unauthorised digging whether any FIT has been lodged? |
