I've been putting together some more information about CS 5642 Advanced Natural Language Processing next semester. 

As I've mentioned to a few of you I'm planning a different approach than we take in CS [45]242 - the short version is no exams, the grading criteria will be 1) programming assignments, 2) a research project, and 3) attendance / participation. Our programming will focus on using an existing library (PyTorch) and not on programming from scratch.

As a new course this has the potential to evolve considerably before and during the semester, so if you see something that doesn't make sense or would like to make sure something is included please do let me know.
