I am considering arranging for a Campaign for Liberty booth at this
year's Summerfest in Villa Park. I can pay the fee and I have a
table, chairs, and approximately 100 brochures. The only problem is
that I will not be in town on June 20th. Is there anyone interested
in staffing this booth or providing additional materials (signs/
posters/pamphlets/etc.)?

Summerfest goes from 11AM-9PM on June 20th and is located in the
Ardmore Business District at Ardmore and Park Boulevard.

Let me know as soon as possible, as the application deadline for the
booth space is THIS MONDAY!

Thanks,

Corey

I am game - I think I am available that morning at least and will donate some materials as well.

Better check with Sharon the parade czar, but sounds like fun to me.

Corey, (and all)

Please submit the application as soon as possible. I'll definitely be there to man the booth, and if we're definitely registered for the event our group can make the rest happen in the meantime.

I've got around 80 pocket constutions, and Doug and I have discussed ordering more constitutions and brochures. We were also considering ordering a couple of C4L t-shirts or some other items from the C4L store to give away.

We have a banner from the parade that we can use for the front of the table.

Doug dreamed up a wheel for people to spin to randomly select the giveaway item that they get. Doug and Aaron were discussing building it. Let's see if they can make that come to fruition. (Feel the pressure guys?)

Please let the group know what the fee for the event is. We will be sure to reimburse you for that cost.

Also, to anyone who was not aware; at the last meeting, Sharon and Jenna volunteered to be heads of festivities planning for our county group. If you have any ideas for parades, fairs and the like, please let them know as soon as possible so that they can research our eligibility and requirements to get in. Corey, contact them if you need help with Summerfest.

Corey, please let us know as soon as you've heard back on our application. Hopefully I'll be busy selling liberty on the streets of Villa Park on June 20th. Thanks Corey!

Hey Corey (and everyone),

I am glad to help man the booth on the 20th!  I also can donate some literature and pocket constitutions for the booth.  Corey, if you need help in anyway with setting this up ro with anything just let me know!

I hope everyone who went to the Kane County kick-off had fun!  Sorry I could not be there, I am out of town visiting my sister.  I cannot wait to hear all about it!

Oh, also everyone keep your summer calendars open in July, Jenna and I are looking into some parades!  We will keep all of you posted.

Have a great weekend!

Sharon

By the way everyone - I met a woman today at the BBQ who reserved a spot in the Geneva swedish days parade -- she also ordered a bunch of custom C4L fans to pass out.  We just need more literature (which I will just order a bunch of and we can split up the cost and ask for assistance with later) and people to walk....are we interested in this?

Ok here's an update, the application for booth space at the Villa Park
Summerfest was submitted (we should hear back sometime this week);
there should be no problem with getting the space, but businesses that
have storefronts in Villa Park have priority. I'll let everyone know
as soon as I hear back.

I'll start-up a list of equipment/materials for the booth and everyone
can add to it. I will also create a document for time slots to make
sure the booth has someone at it throughout the day.

All ideas for the booth are welcome, so don't be shy, even if you
can't make it on the 20th.

Thanks,

Corey

We are a go on the booth! I have been in contact with Jean Taylor,
Commission Chairperson, and she will be sending me setup instructions
shortly.
