Hi Drumbeaters,

Hope you all are having a great Summer!

Here's an informal gathering for all electronic musicians out there
interested in SuperCollider:

San Diego SuperCollider meeting
Monday, July 17, 2011 - 7-9pm
[e-mail me for directions and RSVP]

SuperCollider is a cool and powerful programming language used by
electronic musicians and DJs to synthesize a wide variety of sounds.
It's been used for real-time audio synthesis and processing, algorithmic
composition, and pretty much whatever you want to do with sound. Ir runs
on Linux, Mac, or Windows, and, most importantly, it is free and open
source!

This meeting is open to everyone -- beginners and advanced users alike,
or even if you are just curious to check out what other people are doing
with SuperCollider.

Here's some tracks people have composed with just a twitter-size line of
code (140 characters). Tracks several minutes long can be notated in
fewer than 140 characters by incorporating repeating sequences and
random elements, evolving patterns...

All best,
